Pittsburgh's fourth annual Farm to Table Conference will feature presentations by researchers and scientists about the benefits of eating local food, cooking demonstrations by chefs and dieticians, and a farmer's market including prepared foods.
10 a.m. - 5 p.m. on Friday and Saturday; Friday night food tasting 5-8 p.m., and networking breakfast for exhibitors and attendees on Saturday. $25 conference registration, $25 for the food tasting event. The conference will be held in downtown Pittsburgh at the David L. Lawrence Convention Center, in a riverside-view area.
