Pittsburgh’s first Gay and Lesbian Pride Parade occurred on June 17, 1973 and had 150 participants. This year, we’re pleased to announce that over 100 organizations and groups will represent thousands of people. Led by the Dykes on Bikes contingent, this year’s parade participants will consist of a caravan of LGBT organizations, community groups, corporations, and politicians. Check this link for all the info on featured participants, route maps, and street closures.
Following the March, PrideFest will take place on Liberty Ave. downtown, between 6th Street & 10th Street.
