Frack University is a counter-summit and movement strategy conference at University of Pittsburgh for activists working to oppose the use of hydraulic fracturing to procure natural gas. It is scheduled for the weekend of October 30 and 31, immediately before the Developing Unconventional Gas East industry conference, sponsored by gas industry members like Halliburton, Exxon-Mobil, and Chesapeake Energy occuring November 2-4.
