After 15 years on Pittsburgh City Council Jim Ferlo ran for the State Senate and he promised to be accessible, accountable and a strong voice for progressive change.
He has furthered this green agenda through his various leadership positions on the Urban Redevelopment Authority Board, the Port of Pittsburgh Commission, the State Historical and Museum Commission, and the Governor's Water Infrastructure Task Force. In addition to a sustainable vision, advocacy and leadership, Senator Ferlo has also brought valuable resources to his district in order to build a greener future and empower the next generation of leaders in sustainability.
