September 27: Day of Action on Green Jobs. Gathering, service projects, meals, and rally. Help harvest sunflowers grown on vacant land in Larimer, and learn how to produce biofuel from them; harvesting, garden tours, and workshops on nutrition and urban agriculture at Healcrest Urban Community Farm in Garfield; educational tabling, workshops, petitions, music, theater, multimedia, speakers, and rally in East Liberty. (9-4, starting and ending at East Liberty Presbyterian Church)
