With community support and participation, the Clean Rivers Campaign has been working tirelessly to make sure that fixing our sewer system - the largest-ever public works investment in Allegheny County - prioritizes green infrastructure and all the jobs and community benefits that come with it! We've knocked on doors, talked to our neighbors, testified at hearings, and met with our local officials. This month alone, concerned citizens like you have fanned out across the service area for dozens of meetings (check out one of the stories here). At these visits, we've shared that ratepayers like us not only want clean water, but also good local jobs, cleaner air, and stronger neighborhoods. How can we get all that? By investing in and implementing green infrastructure - solutions that manage stormwater where it falls!
To cap off this exciting month....
